About this Episode
Michael Levy spent 20 years at Morgan Stanley before becoming the first non-family CEO in the 77-year history of Crow Holdings, one of the largest private real estate firms in the US.
In this episode, Michael explains why Wall Street breeds a mercenary culture, how Texas operates on relationships and legacy, and what he learned watching the 2008 financial crisis destroy firms that forgot the fundamentals.
His #1 rule as CEO? "Do no harm." Not exactly what you'd expect from someone who ran trading desks on Wall Street.
